How bonding works for Pokémon pairs
What a custom pair is
Coins in this registry launched on pump.fun with Pokémon as the quote token instead of SOL. When you buy one, your purchase routes SOL → CARDS → Pokémon → the coin.
Why there is no USD bonding number
A pump.fun curve completes only when all 793.1M of its curve tokens have sold. It never completes at a set dollar or market-cap amount. The amount of Pokémon needed was locked in when the coin was created, based on Pokémon's price at that moment. If Pokémon moves 10x after a launch, that coin's USD bonding cap moves 10x too.
Why older coins look “past bonding” but aren't
Pokémon rose about 6x on launch day, so coins created early need several times the usual USD market cap to bond. For example, Mewtwo bonds near a $220k market cap, while Solémon, created later, bonds near $38k.
The feedback loop
Buying a child coin also buys Pokémon. That pushes Pokémon up, which raises the USD goalpost of every older child coin.
How to read the registry
- Trust the progress bar and the Pokémon target, not the dollar market cap.
- Bonded means the coin's PumpSwap pool exists on-chain.
- Bonded, migrating means the curve is complete and the pool is about to be created.
